Poems / Lyrics

A dreamy image taken with a long exposure,
this super blood wolf moon total lunar eclipse was
glowing through the mist as snow began to fall
on January 20, 2019.

Winter Night

Sing a song of childhood
Powdered sugar, tea and spice
Of fossil flowered windows
Crackling footsteps on the ice

As loved ones come a calling
Here to sing the heart’s delight
Shivering shadows haunt the forest
Glassy branches glisten bright

When the final cadence echoes
And we snuff the candle light
Let it thunder in the heavens
O, celestial pillow fight
Shed a muffled bed of silence
On this softly feathered night
